3766960 - Asset block/unblock via FM in RAP got runtime error BEHAVIOR_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT

Symptom

  • In SE37, function module "ASSET_MASTERRECORD_UPDATE" blocks the asset but does not unblock it.
  • A function module/BAPI is requested to unblock the asset or an alternative approach to unblock.
  • When calling "ASSET_MASTERRECORD_MAINTENANCE" from a RAP wrapper, a dump occurs with runtime error BEHAVIOR_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT.
