• Users with admin-level space roles face performance issues, including slow loading or timeouts, in Data Builder and Connections when accessing over 1000 spaces.
• The UI attempts to load all available spaces simultaneously, causing high processing loads and delayed responses.
• Loading times can reach approximately 40 seconds for 1000 spaces, with potential timeouts in some cases. 

SAP Datasphere

1. Log in to the system with a user having an admin-level space role and access to more than 1000 spaces.
2. Open Data Builder and observe that the page takes approximately 30–40 seconds to load or may timeout.
3. Open Connections and observe similar delays or potential timeouts. 

The issue arises because the user has access to a large number of spaces, exceeding 1000. The UI attempts to load all these spaces simultaneously, resulting in high processing demands and delayed response times. 

1. Use multiple scoped roles instead of a broad admin-level role for daily work to limit the number of spaces visible per user and improve performance.
2. If you would like to see an enhanced behavior when loading large numbers of spaces, such as implementing the pagination feature for retrieving large numbers of spaces, consider submitting an enhancement request as per KBA 3332382.
