Symptom

Users of SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) may encounter the following behaviors regarding file attachments on mobile devices (e.g., iPads, iPhones):

  • Unsupported File Editing: Inability to edit file types directly within the application, except for PDFs and images.

  • Storage Restrictions: On managed iPhones/iPads, users are restricted from saving files directly to local device storage, preventing direct file uploads to SSAM.
