3767316 - Inactive Roles Appear in Role Recommendations

Inactive roles are visible in role recommendations in Opportunity Marketplace and Career Worksheet.

• Admin tools: Opportunity Marketplace and Career Worksheet configurations
• Permissions: Role-based permissions for Opportunity Marketplace and Development modules

1. Log in to the instance
2. Navigate to Development
3. Open Suggested Roles and move to the next page of role suggestions; notice roles that are inactive
4. Navigate to Explore My Growth Opportunities from the home dropdown, scroll to the recommendations section, and open Explore More; observe roles that are inactive
5. Go to Manage Job Profile Content and search for any of the observed roles; note that these roles are marked as inactive.

Legacy product behavior: the suggested roles engine did not exclude inactive roles from recommendations. 

1. Engineering implemented a code correction to exclude inactive roles from role recommendations (Career Worksheet suggested roles and Opportunity Marketplace).
2. The enhancement will be delivered in an upcoming release cycle (2H2026); after the release reaches the instance, verify that recommendations no longer display inactive roles.
