3767485 - Joule navigational actions fail with error message 404 page not found

Symptom

When trying to use an navigational joule use case, it returns the query showing 404 page not found error.

Environment

  • Joule
  • SAP Business Technology Platform
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone, Standard Edition
  • SAP Cloud Identity Services

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable and start Joule in SuccessFactors.
  2. Initiate a navigational use case (for example, a navigation action that should open a targeted page or application).
  3. Observe that the navigation does not complete and the 404 page not found error messages appears, or no response occurs.

Cause

Wrong destination URL configured on the BTP destinations.

Resolution

Log in to BTP → Subaccount → Destinations and update the RunTime destination URL to the correct one. In the example bellow, it would be https://hcm55.sapsf.eu.

You can check the correct URL here:

  • KBA - 2089448 SuccessFactors Data Center Name, Location, URL, Domain Name, Mail Server details, SFTP details and Outbound IP addresses

After that, save the change.
