Symptom

  • Index server restarted multiple times.
  • Index server trace shows: "SIGNAL 11 (SIGSEGV) caught".
  • Crash short info indicates segfault at address 0x0000000000000000.
  • Crash stack occurs in hdbscriptserver with calls inside /sapmnt/simba/googlebigqueryodbc/lib/libgooglebigqueryodbc_sb64.so (for example, OAuthWriteResponseToString, Curl_httpchunk_read).
  • Errors could be seen logged prior to crash of type: "RemoteConnectionStatistics.cpp(00083) : invalid credential: Credential not found".
  • Database version reported: 2.00.089.00 (fa/hana2sp08).
