3767509 - Error message is raised while assigning a Payment Card to a Business Partner - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

 When assigning a Payment Card to a Business Partner, error message is raised: "Credit card registration is not supported by the PSP"

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app: Manage Business Partner Master Data
  2. Search and open the Business Partner in which the card is to be added.
  3. Go to Payment Cards tab.
  4. Create a Payment card, add the needed data and click on save.
  5. Error is shown: "Credit card registration is not supported by the PSP"

Cause

The Payment Service Provider does not support the registration of Payment Cards for S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Resolution

Refer to SAP Help Document: Payment Cards, mentioned on See Also section of this document.

All Payment Service Providers that have function: "Card Registration" on the list provided are eligible for the registration at the Customer Master Data.
