3767560 - Queries Missing in Query Browser App - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Queries are missing in the Query Browser app, including SAP-released standard queries and custom queries.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Query Browser app.
  2. Observe that custom queries (for example, Z_* or YY1_*) and some SAP-released standard queries are not listed.

Cause

Missing authorizations for published queries in Query Browser app.

Resolution

  1. Assign the Administrator business role (role template SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR) and Employee business role (role template SAP_BR_EMPLOYEE) to the affected user.
  2. Refresh the user's authorizations and have the user sign in again.
  3. Open the Query Browser app and verify that SAP-released standard queries and custom queries (for example, Z_* and YY1_*) are visible and can be previewed.
