3767800 - Data Workbench Import/Upsert Operations With file Type Excel Format (.xlsx) Does Not Work in C4C

Symptom

Any Data workbench Import/Upsert operations with file type excel format (.xlsx) does not go through in C4C.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer core applications
  • Data Workbench

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Data Workbench.
  2. Choose import/Upsert operator.
  3. Select any BO.
  4. Upload the file in excel format (.xlsx).
  5. Start the upload.
  6. It does not go through.

Cause

.xlsx format is not supported and recommended for upsert/import operations through data workbench in C4C.

Resolution

Convert the file to a .csv file and try upload.
