Symptom

  • The adaptive connectivity service (ACS) does not start and the hosting Adaptive Processing Server remains in state "Running with errors".
  • Logs show: "Failed to start service JavaConnectivity_Administration".
  • Logs show: "Failed to START service JavaConnectivity_Administration error code is 65111".
  • Logs show: "ORBacus encountered an internal error".
  • Logs show SAXParseException on cs.cfg: "Element 'Options' cannot have character [children], because the type's content type is element-only."
