1. Open the Maintain Email Templates app (F1306A).
2. Try to copy a predefined email template.
3. Observe that the action fails with the error “System Configuration Error”.

In Starter and Partner Demo Systems, extensibility functions are deactivated by design. Email templates are development objects under extensibility, so copying templates is not supported in these tenants, leading to “System Configuration Error”.

1. Verify the tenant type. If you are using a starter or partner demo tenant, note that copying email templates is not supported there.
2. Switch to a non-starter tenant (for example, customizing/quality/production) where extensibility is enabled.
3. In the target tenant, open Maintain Email Templates (F1306A) and copy the required predefined templates.
4. Assign the copied email templates to the relevant workflow steps as needed.
