3768202 - Setting Evidential Document as Mandatory for Previous Company / Infotypes in One Stop Service Application

You would like to configure the evidential document as mandatory when an employee creates or updates a record for Previous Company (Infotype 3542) or any other infotype via the One Stop Service application in the ESS portal. Currently the system does not enforce document upload and users can submit without attaching the required evidence.

The evidential document mandatory setting is controlled by a customizing table V_T7KRDVS. If no entry exists for the infotype and document type combination, the system treats document upload as optional. The mandatory flag must be explicitly set in this table to enforce document attachment.

1. Maintain Configuration in V_T7KRDVS via SM30.
   Add a new entry in V_T7KRDVS with the following values: 
   

   Field	Value	Description
   Infotype	3542	Previous Company infotype
   Document Type	HRIKRPRE	Document type for previous company evidence
   Document Attribute	M	M = Mandatory

2. Maintain Previous Company Entry.
   1. Navigate to the One Stop Service App.
   2. Create or edit an entry for Previous Company as required.
      
3. Upload Evidential Document.
   

   1. While maintaining the record, navigate to the Evidential Document section.
   2. Upload the required document.
      
   3. Since the document attribute is set to Mandatory (M), the system enforces document attachment before saving.
