3768271 - Error: "Restart onboarding is not supported for SmartRecruiters initiated onboarding"

• An error occurs when attempting to restart onboarding for a candidate whose onboarding was initiated from SmartRecruiters.
• Error message: "Restart onboarding is not supported for SmartRecruiters initiated onboarding"
• The issue does not occur for new hires added manually to onboarding.
• Error code observed in logs: CO_ERROR_RESTART_VALIDATION_FAILURE

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log in to the system.
2. Go to the Onboarding Dashboard.
3. Locate a candidate whose onboarding was initiated from SmartRecruiters.
4. Attempt to use Restart Onboarding for the candidate.
5. Observe the error message displayed.

Restart Onboarding is currently not supported for onboarding processes initiated through SmartRecruiters; this is expected behavior.

• At present, the Restart Onboarding functionality is not supported for candidates whose onboarding process was initiated from Smart Recruiters. As a result, the Restart option will not be available in the Onboarding Dashboard for these candidates.
• The product team will consider this feedback and the associated business needs for evaluation in future releases and enhancements.
