Reproducing the Issue
Cause
It is currently not possible to configure the visibility of online content separately for different users when the content resides within the same item.
Resolution
The only available configuration is the "Add to History on Pass" setting at the online content level. However, this setting applies universally to all users and cannot be configured differently for individual users or user groups. This behavior is in line with the current system design.
As a workaround, you may consider creating separate items for the different online content objects and then assigning those items to users based on your business requirements. This would allow you to control the content visibility and completion history behavior independently for different user populations.
Please note, if you would like to have this functionality included in a future release, you can create an enhancement request as explained in the KBA 2090228 - How to Submit Enhancement Requests for SAP SuccessFactors Products. All enhancement requests are reviewed by our Product Management team and, if successful, are developed and implemented in a future product release.
