3768506 - Background Element Date Shifts by One Day in Latest Application Workbench - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When a date field within a background element is populated in the Legacy Workbench (for example, 04/13/2026), the same record displays a different date in the Latest Workbench, shifted by one day earlier (for example, 04/12/2026).

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the legacy workbench, fill the date field in background element for example, 04/13/2026.
  2. Switch to New Workbench
  3. Observe that the date displays as one day earlier (for example, 04/12/2026).

Cause

This behavior is caused by a UI rendering discrepancy in the Latest Workbench, where date values appear offset by one day despite being correctly stored in the database.

Resolution

A code fix has been developed, and is scheduled to be deployed on October 12, 2026 (Preview) and November 13, 2026 (Production).
