Symptom
Inactive users do not appear when using Population Filter → Find User in Executive Review.
Creating a filter condition with the Username criterion and entering a known inactive user does not return or recognize the user.
No error message is displayed.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
Reproducing the Issue
- Open Executive Review.
- Open the Population Filter and select Find User, then search for a known inactive user; the user is not returned.
- Alternatively, create a filter condition using the Username criterion, enter the username of a known inactive user; the user is not found.
Cause
This is a known issue that is caused due to the 'Enable Enhanced People Search' setting enabled in Company System and Logo Settings
Resolution
The Engineering Team has confirmed that a fix for this issue is planned for the 2H2026 release. The 2H2026 release will be deployed on the following dates:
- Preview Environment: October 12th 2026
- Production Environment: November 13–14th 2026
As a current workaround, you can consider disabling the 'Enable Enhanced People Search' setting in Company System and Logo Settings in order to search for inactive users with Find User
