Symptom
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Integration Center
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an Integration Center job.
- Schedule the Integration Center job for execution.
- Check the execution logs after the job runs, the error message is displayed.
Cause
This is a Known error. The job is interrupted after breaching the 8-hour limit according to the threshold limit of running IC jobs.
Resolution
The maximum runtime threshold for Integration Center jobs is 8 hours. If a job exceeds this limit, it is automatically terminated by the system. In such scenarios, the expected error message should be:
"Failed due to - Integration stopped as the job exceeds the threshold limit of 8 hours."
This behavior can be verified by reviewing the Integration Center job event logs, where the recorded job runtime is typically close to the 8-hour threshold.
However, the current behavior differs from the expected outcome. Instead of the threshold-limit message, Integration Center displays the following error:
"Failed due to - Integration stopped due to interrupt. Current status - Pages Written - XXX"
This is a known issue, and the Engineering team is aware of it and is actively investigating the behavior. At this time, there is no confirmed ETA for a fix.
