• Open items visible in the line-item display app for the general ledger do not appear in the Clear G/L Accounts – Manual Clearing (F1579) app.
• No error message is shown; items are not listed for clearing.

1. Use the app to display line items in the general ledger and filter for open items on a G/L account.
2. Confirm that open items are listed in the line item display app.
3. Open the Clear G/L Accounts – Manual Clearing (F1579) app for the same G/L account and company code.
4. Observe that those open items are not displayed for clearing.

• Documents posting under GRRA process are Journal Entry Category U = "Posting in General Ledger Only" The U type identifies entries made exclusively in the general ledger (General Ledger Only), without a corresponding entry in sub-ledgers.
• By design, these items are not open items eligible for manual clearing in the F1579 app, as they do not have the open item management feature in the context of clearing.
• A typical example is the entries generated by the Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation process, which creates entries with Journal Entry Category.
• These entries exist only in the general ledger view (ACDOCA) and have no entry view (BSEG) line items.
• They are not open-item managed in the clearing context and therefore are not eligible for manual clearing in the Clear G/L Accounts – Manual Clearing (F1579) app. This is by design.

1. Verify the affected documents were generated by GRRA process are Journal Entry Category U and have journal entry category U (posting in general ledger only). 
2. Acknowledge that this is expected system behavior: such postings do not appear in Clear G/L Accounts – Manual Clearing (F1579) and cannot be manually cleared.
3. Perform clearing on the applicable business documents that are eligible for clearing; do not appear item to clear under GRRA technical postings.
