3768821 - In the APP 'Manage purchase Contract' the product type group field is not open for editing

In the APP 'Manage purchase Contract' the 'product type group' field is sometimes greyed out and cannot be changed yet in some items the field remains editable

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Purchase Contracts app and switch a purchase contract to Edit mode.
2. Navigate to the item overview.
3. Attempt to change the Product Type Group value; the field is disabled (greyed out) and cannot be edited in some items.

When a follow-on purchase order has been created with reference to the contract item, the Product Type Group can no longer be changed. The field is therefore deliberately set to display only.

This is standard system behavior; once follow-on purchase orders exist for a contract item, the Product Type Group field becomes read-only and cannot be changed.
