  • After upgrading Sybase ASE from 16.0 SP04 PL06 to 16.1 SP00 PL01, a specific stored procedure that accesses View shows significantly longer parse/compile times compared to the previous version.  
  • Showplan output may include: “Optimizer timed out N time(s) while generating this plan, Timeout Limit percentage: X”.
