Model Import: SAP HANA Cloud Connection HCA - Capability ModelTransfer: Cannot access importable content on remote HANA - Check if HANA has importable content and check access privileges to data schema

Reproducing the Issue

Connection validation

Cause

The connection user configured in the SAP HANA Cloud connection must have SELECT privileges on HANA schemas where Calculation Views are deployed.

Additionally, Model Import has version prerequisites that must be met:

  • SAP HANA Cloud ≥ QRC 1/2026
  • SAP Datasphere database version ≥ 2025.50

Resolution

Make sure the connection user configured in the SAP HANA Cloud connectionhas the select privileges of the HANA artifacts, which you want to import into Datasphere, in the source system.
