3768877 - Web Intelligence: Cannot Save Universe Security Profile After Editing Restriction with @variable('bouser')

Symptom

  • In a universe security profile, a restriction that uses @Variable('BOUSER') displays with two single quotes.
  • After removing the extra single quote and clicking Save/OK, nothing happens and the edit popup remains open; changes are not saved.
  • Clicking Save without making any changes also does nothing.
  • The issue occurs both with Local middleware and Server Middleware in the Information Design Tool (IDT).
  • No error message is displayed.
