3769008 - Cannot Delete Existing National ID information When Editing Dependent - Employee Central

When editing an existing Dependent's information, it is not possible to remove their existing National ID information - the delete/trash icon does not show beside the record in order to delete it.

If you add a new National ID record, the trash icon shows beside the new record correctly, but the old/existing record still does not show the icon.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to an employee's profile
2. Go to the 'Dependents' portlet/card
3. Select the edit icon/pencil, or select a specific record and choose to edit it
4. Go to the dependent's 'National ID Information' section
5. See the dependent has an existing National ID record, but there is no delete/trash icon to remove it

This is currently expected behaviour, as National ID Information cannot be removed for Dependents once it has been saved/added to the database.

When a National ID Information record is being initially added, the delete/trash icon shows because the record has not yet been committed to the database, and so still has the option to be removed.
However, once the record has been submitted/saved to the record / into the database, it is on longer possible to remove it via the UI.

This is expected behaviour due to current system design and technical limitations.
