3769383 - Registered Product Address or Contact Details Differ from Migration Template

Symptom

After migrating Registered Products, the address and/or contact person details displayed in the Registered Product master data differ from the values maintained in the migration template.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Service Entitlements work center.
  2. Go to Registered Products view.
  3. Search with the Registered Product ID: ABC.
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. In the Account and Contact Section, the Contact and Product Location data differ from the values maintained in the migration template.

(ABC represents Registered Product ID created via migration)

Cause

The Contact person and Product Location(Address) details are automatically derived from the Account master data associated with the Account ID maintained in the migration template.

Resolution

This is expected system behavior.
