3769480 - Equipment Dropdown List Shows Empty in Request Equipment for New Hires Task - Onboarding

The equipment task dropdown shows no options (blank).

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Open the Request Equipment for New Hires Task.
2. Click the equipment dropdown (for example, laptop) and observe that no options are available.

No items were configured for the relevant equipment category, so the dropdown list is empty.

1. Go to Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks.
2. Click Task Settings and select the relevant equipment category (for example, Laptop), then click Edit.
3. Under “Add Items to the equipment category,” select Add, enter the ID and Item Name for each required item, and save.
4. Run OData API Metadata Refresh And Export > Refresh Cache.
5. Return to the equipment task and verify that the dropdown now lists the configured items.
