Symptom

  • The OData adapter reports a metadata validation error when attempting to use the Teams and Responsibilities service (service CA_RSM_TEAM_MANAGE).
  • The EDMX ($metadata) is invalid due to duplicate sap:label attributes within single elements.
  • Duplicate sap:label occurs in FunctionImport elements such as DeleteTeamMemberAndFunctions, UpdateTeamMemberAssignmentStartDate, UnAssignTeamMemberFunction, UnAssignTeamOwner, AddSubNode, DeleteSubNode, GetSubNodes, GetPotentialSubNodesForAssign, and PreponeTeamHeaderStartDate.
  • The OData adapter cannot be used with this service until the EDMX is valid.
