3770028 - Custom fields with business context "Accounting: Market Segment" cannot be added to the upload template in the Upload Customer Open Items app (F4051)

Symptom

Custom fields with the business context "Accounting: Market Segment" cannot be added to the upload template in the Upload Customer Open Items app (F4051). Only custom fields with the business context "Coding Block" are currently supported, preventing users from posting to primary cost accounts with custom fields in the profitability segment.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602

Reproducing the Issue

Open the Upload Customer Open Items app (F4051).
Attempt to find the created custom field with the business context "Accounting: Market Segment" in the upload template.
Observe that the field is not available for selection.

Cause

The feature to support custom fields with business context "Accounting: Market Segment" in app F4051 was not available and is planned to be supported starting with release 2608.

The Upload Customer Open Items app (F4051) does not yet support custom fields with the business context "Accounting: Market Segment" in the upload template in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602 and earlier releases.

Resolution

This feature will be available as of release 2608. Refer to the following documentation for details:

Testing should be performed after upgrading to release 2608.
