3770041 - Asset transfer blocked between company codes in different countries/regions (FAA_POST303)-SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Attempting to transfer an asset between company codes assigned to different countries/regions is blocked.
• Error message: "Transfer not possible as CoCode &1 and &2 in different countries/regions "
• Message no.: FAA_POST303

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Asset Accounting transactions and start an intercompany asset transfer between two company codes assigned to different countries/regions.
2. Attempt to post the transfer; the system raises message FAA_POST303 and prevents posting.

Company codes represent different accounting principles used by various countries or regions. Currently, the system does not support this functionality. 

Two-step workaround:

1. Post the asset as a retirement in the sending company code.
2. Post the asset as an acquisition in the receiving company code.
