3770461 - Unable to Validate Sales Order Billing Plan Percentage Against Custom Pricing Condition Percentage in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

For sales orders with Billing Plan Type 90 (Milestone Billing & Down Payment), the system needs to compare the Billing Plan percentage maintained at item level with the custom pricing condition percentage for the same item. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create or change a sales order (for example, VA01/VA02) with an item that has a billing plan percentage that differs from the custom pricing condition percentage.
2. Upon saving the document, an error or warning message should be triggered if the values do not match.

There is no standard functionality available to directly compare Billing Plan milestone percentages with percentage-based pricing conditions in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Within the current standard framework, the only feasible approach would be to introduce a custom field to store the percentage value explicitly. This would then allow you to implement a validation check using a custom pricing Cloud BAdI (similar to the condition amount Cloud BAdI) to ensure the required control during pricing determination.
