Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SF instance
- After getting authenticated
- Error will show: "You don't have permission to access this page"
Cause
The user lost access to the last page visited before logging out. On subsequent SSO logins, the system redirected the user to that page, resulting in the permission error.
Resolution
- Have the user initiate SSO login until the error page appears and remain in the same browser tab
- In the same tab, navigate using a valid deeplink to a page the user can access (for example, the Live Profile page)
<baseURL>/sf/liveprofile
e.g.: https://hcm2preview.sapsf.eu/sf/liveprofile - In the application, set the user’s landing page to a page they are permitted to access (for example, Employee Profile)
- Navigate to the homepage.
- Log out to reset the “last visited page” to the homepage.
- Log in again via SSO and confirm access is restored.
- If the error persists in the regular browser, clear browsing data (cache and cookies) and retry.
