Pricing conditions are determined based on customer group maintained for Sold-To Party instead of the Payer in sales orders.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Maintain different values for a customer group field (for example, Customer Group 5) for the Sold-To Party and the Payer in business partner data.
2. In Set Tax Rate – Sales app, ensure a condition uses that customer group as a key for access.
3. Create a sales order where the Sold-To Party and the Payer differ and trigger price determination.
4. Observe that the system selects condition records according to the Sold-To Party’s customer group value, not the Payer’s.

1. By design, customer group fields used in sales order pricing are derived from the Sold-To Party.
