3770626 - SAP Integration Suite: FTP Adapter deployment fails with CAMEL_CONTEXT_NOT_STARTED and IllegalArgumentException: host must be specified and not empty

Symptom

When attempting to deploy an integration flow (iFlow) containing an FTP Sender or Receiver Adapter configured to route traffic via the SAP Cloud Connector, the deployment fails.

  • The iFlow deploys successfully if the FTP adapter component is completely removed from the canvas.

  • The main monitoring screen displays the deployment state error: CAMEL_CONTEXT_NOT_STARTED.

  • The connectivity test to the target FTP server from the monitoring dashboard finishes successfully.

  • The detailed runtime stack trace logs display the following underlying entries:
    org.apache.camel.FailedToStartRouteException: Failed to start route ... because of null Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: host must be specified and not empty
