3770741 - Inspection Lot Not Created at Goods Receipt Due to Certified QM System

Symptom

  • No inspection lot is created during a goods receipt (GR) posting against a purchase order, even though the correct inspection type is assigned in the material master.
  • The behavior occurs randomly— some vendors trigger inspection lot creation, others do not — for the same material and plant.
