3770857 - Unable to Delete Maintenance Activity Type in Maintenance Orders — SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Unable to remove, delete, or inactivate Maintenance Activity Types assigned to maintenance orders.
• In configuration activity SSCUI 103652 (Define Maintenance Activity Types), no option is available to delete or inactivate existing entries.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

1. Open the Manage Your Solution app.
2. Navigate to Configuration Activities.
3. Search for and open SSCUI 103652 – Define Maintenance Activity Types.
4. Select an existing Maintenance Activity Type entry.
5. Observe that no Delete or Inactivate option is available for the selected entry.

Deletion of entries is not supported in SSCUI 103652 - Define Maintenance Activity Types.

This behavior is by design in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

In-app configuration activities have predefined restrictions. Maintenance Activity Types cannot be deleted or inactivated after creation.

If the standard configuration scope does not meet business requirements, submit an enhancement request via the SAP Customer Influence Portal.
