3770930 - Error RECEAA033 - 'Renewal options exist for asset &1' is shown when deactivating RoU asset - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When performing RoU asset deactivation via app 'Deactivate Leased Assets' system shows error RECEAA033 - 'Renewal options exist for asset &1' and the asset cannot be deactivated.

Error happens, despite no renewal options being maintained on the contract.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access 'Deactivate Leased Assets' App
2. Enter parameters of contact with a linked RoU asset to be deactivated.
3. Execute deactivation process
4. Observe error message RECEAA033 - 'Renewal options exist for asset &1'

The deactivation is not possible as the dates for end of contract and end of valuation term are compared with the current system date (actual date). Because it has not reached actual date, the deactivation is not possible. 

• Ensure that all prerequisites for RoU asset deactivation are met.
• Ensure that the actual date when the deactivation process is performed in 'Deactivate Leased Assets' is later than the final contract end date/valuation term date.
