3771399 - SAML User Authentication Failed with "The user data could not be synchronized" When User Synchronization is Enabled in SAP Agent Lifecycle Management

Symptom

  • Users attempting to log in through SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) receive the following error message:
    • " SAML User authentication failed. The user data could not be synchronized. "
  • Application logs show that the SAML authentication is successful and a valid SAML response is received from the Identity Provider (IdP). However, the login fails immediately afterward during the user synchronization process.
  • Example log entry:
    • SAML User authentication failed. The user data could not be synchronized.
