• During calibration sessions, emails are sent that should not be dispatched.
• Email corresponds to an offline job notification after mass finalization.
• Emails are sent even when the actions are below the configured “Online Mass Finalization Threshold”

SAP SuccessFactors Calibration

1. Configure a Calibration session and set the Online Mass Finalization Threshold to a higher value (for example, from 25 to 500).
2. Finalize sessions in smaller increments that are individually below the threshold.
3. Observe that an offline job email notification is still sent during/after finalization.

By design, the Online Mass Finalization Threshold is evaluated against the original set of sessions selected for finalization and processed cumulatively. When the cumulative count meets or exceeds the threshold, the system routes the task as an offline job and sends an email notification. This notification cannot be disabled.

1. Review how many sessions were included in the original selection for finalization; understand that the threshold is applied cumulatively to this original set.
2. If you want to avoid offline job notifications, set the "Online Mass Finalization Threshold" higher than the expected cumulative count, up to the system maximum of 1000.
3. If your expected cumulative count can exceed 1000, note this is current system behavior and the offline job notification cannot be prevented via the threshold.
4. Review the Calibration session setup for any optional “send email” settings and disable them if applicable to reduce additional emails (refer to KBA 3643668 ).
5. Use Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager to monitor the offline job status, time stamps, and details when the threshold is reached.
6. If the current limit or behavior does not meet your requirements, submit an enhancement idea to request higher limits or additional controls for emails (refer to the note in See also).
