3772179 - Not Able To Reference Down Payments Invoice Requests Created via the Web Service ManageDownPaymentCustomerInvoiceRequestIn to Service Orders.

When trying to create down payment invoice requests via web service ManageDownPaymentCustomerInvoiceRequestIn there is no option to reference a service order.

Trying to create a down payment request in the ByDesign using web service. In the payload, you notice that the tag for referencing a service order is not working as it is for sales order and customer contract. 

While checking the documentation for the web service ManageDownPaymentCustomerInvoiceRequestIn,

1. Navigate to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Service Explorer view.
3. Search for the service ManageDownPaymentCustomerInvoiceRequestIn.
4. Select operation Maintain downpayment invoice request.
5. In the details, open the hyperlink for the documentation.
6. Expand the documentation for Operation Maintain As Bundle.

We can see that there is only reference tags for Sales Order and Customer Contract. There is no reference tag for service order.

It is currently not supported for the creating the down payment invoice requests with reference to a service order via web service in SAP Business ByDesign.

It is currently the expected system behavior. It is advised to use the Customer Influence Portal to vote for the existing request.
