3772200 - How do I find out why data on a user's profile was changed, blanked, or reverted in SAP Ariba Procurement Solutions?

I have found unexpected changes on a user's profile in SAP Ariba Procurement Solutions and I want to trace them on a self-service basis. The changes may take any of the following forms:

• One or more fields have been blanked or wiped (for example, user accounting fields have been set to null).
• One or more fields have been reverted to an older value, or flipped from one valid state to another. 
• Values maintained manually in the UI have disappeared.
• A change was made by an unexpected user, or the responsible user is unknown.

I want to determine:

• • Exactly when the change occurred and which field(s) changed, from what value to what value.
  • What triggered the change — a manually run task, a scheduled task run, an upstream integration, a processed User Profile (UP) request, or a direct UI edit.
  • If a task run is responsible: which task and who ran it, and what payload was consumed.
  • If a UP request is responsible: which request, when it was created, and why its captured values differ from the current state.
