Symptom

  • Deployment of the promotion pricing service fails when using an extension descriptor (_schema-version: "2.0.0") with CARAB 5.0 SPS08.
  • Error message: "Error detecting MTA major schema version: Extension descriptors must have the same major schema version as the deployment descriptor, but the following do not: com.sap.retail.ppservice.XSAC_OPP_PPS"
  • Error message: "Extension descriptors must have the same major schema version as the deployment descriptor, but the following do not: com.sap.retail.ppservice.XSAC_OPP_PPS"
  • Installation attempted with xs install using an .mtaext file still set to schema-version 2.0.0.
