3772353 - Unable to activate "SWIFT/BIC opt" in configuration activity "Define Settings for SEPA Countries/Regions" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The indicator "SWIFT/BIC Opt" in configuration activity 105423 - Define Settings for SEPA Countries/Regions cannot be activated due to the error message "IBAN without BIC cannot be activated" (Error ID: BF00218).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In configuration activity 105423 -Define Settings for SEPA Countries/Regions, select one country/region.
2. Attempt to activate "SWIFT/BIC Opt".
3. The error "IBAN without BIC cannot be activated" happened. 

The 'IBAN w/o BIC' setting cannot be activated for the selected country because an internal bank has not yet been created for this country. The system cannot save bank details without a bank ID. 

1. Via Manage Banks - Master Data App, create an internal bank for the requested country/region, make sure to maintain the internal bank category as "Internal Bank for SEPA (4)".

2. Return to configuration activity Define Settings for SEPA Countries/Regions, activate the indicator "SWIFT/BIC Opt".
