3772366 - Error "Measuring point &1 is locked by user &2" while updating measuring point with API_MEASURINGPOINT in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Persistent locking issue when using the OData API_MEASURINGPOINT (service definition SRVD_A2X) with communication scenario SAP_COM_0395.
• Every PATCH request to any MeasuringPoint entity fails with the error message: "Measuring point &1 is locked by user &2", message no. EAMS_BO 139.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Perform a GET request on the OData V4 API_MEASURINGPOINT MeasuringPoint entity to retrieve a CSRF token and ETag.
2. Perform a PATCH request on the same MeasuringPoint entity using the CSRF token and If-Match header.
3. Observe that the response fails with "Measuring point &1 is locked by user &2".

This is a known product issue.

Fix is planned to be delivered with 2608 release on Aug. 15/16 for production system. Before the fix is deployed, use the frontend application 'Change Measuring Point' to change measuring points as a temporary workaround.
