3772426 - CCv2 build fails with HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) during image build due to Azure Container Registry rate limiting.

Symptom

  • During SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) build execution, the build fails in the image build phase with an error similar to:

    de.hybris.ccv2.BuilderException:
    Determining whether the image <image-name> exists in the registry <acr>.azurecr.io failed

    HTTP 429 – Too Many Requests
    Registry exceeded the rate limit of 20000 requests in a 60 second window.
