Request password for communication user e.g. CUSTOMER_SAP_COM_0193  

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Communication user passwords cannot be retrieved, a new password must be proposed when the current password is unknown.

1. Open the app Maintain Communication Users and select the relevant communication user. 
2. Use Propose Password to generate a new password.
3. Do not forget to update dependent integrations that store this password (for example, Cloud Identity Services Identity Provisioning (CUSTOMER_SAP_COM_0193)):

• • Sign in to the administration console and go to Identity Provisioning -> Source Systems, Target Systems, or Proxy Systems.
  • Select the system representing SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Open the Properties tab, update the Password property to the newly proposed password, and save.
  • Run the Identity Provisioning job to validate connectivity.
