3772689 - Restrict Story Report Access to Either LMS (SAPSFSLMS) or REP (SAPSFSFREP) Connection selection

• Users can choose between connections SAPSFSFLMS (lms) and SAPSFSFREP (rep) when creating Story reports, but the requirement is to allow only SAPSFSFLMS
• Request to prevent any access or selection of SAPSFSFREP for specific users.

1. Open Story Reporting and start creating a new Story report.
2. In the connection selection, observe both SAPSFSFLMS and SAPSFSFREP are available.
3. Requirement: restrict users so they can use only SAPSFSFLMS and cannot use or select SAPSFSFREP.

By current system design, it is not possible to grant separate Story Reporting access limited to only the LMS (SAPSFSFLMS) connection.

1. Current system behavior: connection-level restriction to LMS-only is not supported.
2. To block use of the REP connection, adjust Role-Based Permissions (RBP) so users have no REP domain access when you select REP connection:
   1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles.
   2. Open the relevant permission role and select Permissions.
   3. Navigate to Reporting Permissions > Create Story.
   4. Do not select (leave unassigned) any domains associated with REP for the target users/role.
   5. Save the permission role and ensure it is assigned to the intended users.
3. Result: Users can create and use Story reports via SAPSFSFLMS; attempts to create a report using the REP connection will fail due to missing domain permissions.
