3772846 - IPS: While provisioning to SAP Analytics Cloud as target system, "Unauthorized grant type" error occurs

Symptom

While trying to provision users and/or groups from any source system to a SAP Analytics Cloud connector type target system, the following error message occurs:

error=Connector cannot process more entities due to irreparable error Caused by: Authentication failed with body: {"error":"invalid_client","error_description":"Unauthorized grant type"}, destination: {_ips_runtime_property_provisioning_system_id=<ID>, ips.failed.request.retry.attempts=2, User=<OAUTH_CLIENT_ID>, csrf.token.path=/api/v1/scim/Users?count=1, ips.failed.request.retry.attempts.interval=30, ips.trace.failed.entity.content=true, sac.api.csrf.protection=enabled, URL=<URL>, Type=HTTP, systemName=<NAME>, Authentication=BasicAuthentication, OAuth2TokenServiceURL=<O_URL>, startTime=<DATE>, ProxyType=Internet, sac.api.version=1, sac.user.unique.attribute=userName, _ips_runtime_property_source_system_id=<ID>, Password=********},

For the authentication method of the SAP Analytics Cloud target system in the properties of the system, BasicAuthentication is chosen.
