3772856 - E-Verify error: Current user doesn't have permission to initiate the E-verify process - Onboarding

Symptom

  • An error occurs when manually creating an E-Verify case via Admin Center > Create E-Verify Case.
  • An error occurs when opening the Complete E-Verify: Tentative Nonconfirmation task either from the Onboarding Dashboard or from the home page.
  • The following error message is displayed:
    Error occurred
    Current user doesn't have permission to initiate the E-verify process. Please contact your system administrator.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Complete E-Verify: Tentative Nonconfirmation task either from the Onboarding Dashboard or from the home page.
  2. The following error message is displayed:
    Error occurred
    Current user doesn't have permission to initiate the E-verify process. Please contact your system administrator.

Cause

The issue occurs because the current user is missing the required E-Verify role-based permissions (RBP) to initiate or complete the E-Verify process.

Resolution

Grant the required E-Verify permissions in the current user's assigned Role-Based Permission (RBP) roles.
