3772893 - The Pronouns field cannot be configured as mandatory in Spotlight, and the required asterisk (*) is not displayed next to the Pronouns

• Unable to make the “Pronouns” field mandatory.
• The asterisk (*) indicating a required field is not visible for the Pronouns field.
• Selecting “No selection” for Pronouns results in an application error.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Spotlight

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration > Employee Profile > Standard > Pronouns and set the field to Mandatory.
2. Open People Profile and observe that the Pronouns field does not show the required asterisk (*).
3. In People Profile, set Pronouns to “No selection” and observe that an application error occurs "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring ".

Issue with Pronouns field.

This issue will be fixed in 2H 2026 (b2611) release, for preview environment on 12 October 2026  and for production environment on 13 November 2026.
