• Unable to add link inside "Manage Documents" app when using Third-Party Repository Integration  ( Communication Scenario SAP_COM_0597 )
• Unable to add A website link ( URL )  due to error 'Type Id must not be empty! Correlation ID ' but other attachments such as PDF , PNG are uploaded sucessfully
• The error 'Target folder not existing in the repository ' occurs when adding a link to a Document Info Record and not known why

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
• Document Management ( DMS )

1) Open "Manage Documents" application
2) Create a document
3) Select Document Type: Unit Testing (AUT)
4) in the "Originals" block press "Add a Link"
5) Insert URL pointing to http://www.sap.com
6) Press "OK"

To be able to store links in the CMIS Repository, we create a CMIS secondary type "sapecm:uri" as a subtype under parent type "cmis:document". 

The repository set up of Communication Arrangement for SAP_COM_0597 will register the sapecm:uri secondary property in the External Respository when saving 

The error occurs when sapecm:uri does not exist or not found under cmis:document type in the External Respository

Please check in the External Repository that secondary type "sapecm:uri" exists.

if not , please resave the Communication Arrangement for SAP_COM_0597 and add the link again.

Contact the Third-Party Repository owner and request them to allow the creation of subtypes for cmis:document.

This is required so that the subtype sapecm:uri can be created successfully when the communication scenario is reactivated or triggered again during save processing.
