3773237 - When the application is purged, attachments within the OpenText workspace also get anonymized - Recruiting Management

When the application is purged, attachments linked are purged. This also reflects on OpenText Workspace.

This behavior has been reviewed and confirmed by Engineering, Product Management, and the Compliance team, and is working as designed. When a purge is executed through Data Retention Management (DRM), all attachments associated with a Job Application are permanently deleted from both SuccessFactors and OpenText. This includes attachments stored in multiattachment fields. 

The deletion of these attachments is intentional and required to ensure compliance with GDPR regulations. The attribute anonymize="false" on multiattachment fields does not apply during a DRM‑initiated application purge and does not prevent attachment deletion.

No changes to this behavior are planned.
